KinerRail is a unique KinergyPower product which is designed and developed to work with trains. Currently this application has the potential to harvest the most energy of any of the products in the KinergyPower family.

A pilot project was launched in early 2013. Subsequently, testing occured in both Greece and India, during which time, electrical output was verified in actual railroad settings.

As with all KinergyPower products, the energy gathered by the KinerRail unit, is most effectively and efficiently used in nearby situations, for example to power lights in the train or subway station but the possiblities for use are limitless.
